How to get rid of that Beginner's Barrier?

I find it hard to FEEL who or what I'm portraying. I can try acting like they would act, but I don't really FEEL it, you know? I feel like there's a barrier. Are there any exercises to help me get rid of this? I have an audition for a play coming up and I really want to get into the character of my monologue, and of the part I'm trying out for.

I can place myself in the parts' shoes, but can't feel like I am actually there, as them.

How to get rid of that Beginner's Barrier?
I have the same problem sometimes, and what I do is read the whole play and try to get some perspective on the character. Ask yourself some questions - why are they acting the way they do? what is their family life like? what do they eat for breakfast? (the last one sounds weird, but that's part of their personality too right?) Just random stuff.

Another thing to do is try to relate to the character - try to find similarities in their personality and your own, or try to relate their dilemma in the piece with something you've gone through yourself - no matter how obscurely relative they are, as long as they are similar. Hope this helps you, and good luck!

How to fix my Dooney & Brourke leather purse?

My Dooney is part fabric and leather. I got some scuff marks on the leather part. Shoe polish isn't doing anything to fix it. Does anyone have any inexpensive ideas how to fix? Thanks!

How to fix my Dooney %26amp; Brourke leather purse?
You can try using Rubbing Alcohol. I use it to clean my leather shoes and bags. But if the scuffs don't remove you should contact Dooney %26amp; Bourke. Mostly when one buys a Dooney there is a yellow registration card.
Reply:Believe it or not nail polish remover can clean it off, the same thing happened to my Dooney Bourke purse, it also happend to My Louie Vitton Purse too, but that was so much more stressful than the Dooney
Reply:Take soda and dab it on it use sprite dont coke something clear and the bubbles will make it go away.

its a rear passenger side window and a front bumper, i dont want to order new parts cause its expensive and i just want to go to the junkyard and get a used ones that will work just fine. i have a friend that said he could install it for me for free but i dont know where to find these parts, or find a website that shoes the parts similar to the ones on my car cause i cant find any mazda 626 in the junkyard.

I have a 2000 mazda 626 and cant find a part for it?
My answer is TIME TO GET A NEW CAR.....IT IS 2008 now!
Reply:If you go to a large wrecking yard they should be connected to a computer search service that connects all subscribing wrecking yards. Then they should be able to find the parts you need.
Reply:Try an On Line parts locator's...that is your best bet....or drive to a local "Ma and Pa" body shop.....slip the guy a few $$$$ and get your parts.
Reply:Most junk yards are computer linked to others. Have them check all the junk yards in your area and they can tell you who has them, either that or buy the parts new.

What part of the foot do high heels hurt the most?

I've bought a pair of high-heeled sandals to wear to a wedding. It's 3 inches high, has thin straps, and a heel that's thin but not quite stiletto.

This might sound weird to some of you, but I've never worn high heels before (parent's wouldn't let me, and there's not much chance for that stuff if you go to a school with uniforms).

To make my feet more comfortable, I've bought some of those Scholl's soft pad thingies that I can stick on the shoe. Which part of the sandal should I stick them on: the part where I rest the balls of my feet or where I rest my heels?

In other words, will my heels or the balls of my feet hurt more after I'm in the heels for 2 hours? Thanks for telling!

What part of the foot do high heels hurt the most?
Whoa, you need to practice before you spend the night barefoot or crying.

The ball of my foot is the part which aches the most after a night at the club. The next morning they still hurt, when I get out of bed. The first few steps...think of me!!

I am so excited for you to be experiencing this pain for the first time! You'll will know what it feels like to be a woman. lol

Good luck, Hun!
Reply:I agree that the ball of the foot is where you'd get the most pain because that is where you are putting the weight of you body on instead of the whole foot. Also I get pain in the arches of my foot. Report It

Reply:I have a really bad time in heels too! Report It

Reply:Have you ever tried these foot cushions by Insolia?

I was on my feet for almost an entire day - in heels! - and these really helped. Usually my back hurts after wearing heels for so long... but this time it didn't bother me. Report It

Reply:it is not so much your feet that will hurt that will get better but high heels are really bad for your back.
Reply:I used to wear at least 4" heels to work everynight and after a few weeks of that I lost feeling in two to three of the toes on both of my feet. I had to stop wearing heels all together for like two months. It must have had something to do with all the pressure on the ball of my foot (OUCH!) messing with the nerves or something. It was really freaky.
Reply:obviously your heels will hurt more
Reply:the balls of you feet will be hurting

i been wearing heels since i was 14

also i dance in the for 4 hours a day(im not a stripper im a ballroom dancer)

before you go to the wedding wear the heels and practice to walk in them cause for your frist time it will be hard to walk in them

and also for your frst time i think it would be better if you went for a smaller heel like 2"

3 is hard to walk in even dance (trust me on this i dance in 3")

so yea practice walking

and there will be pain if your in them for a long time
Reply:the balls of the feet is where all of the pressure is exhurted. try standing on your toes. that's how it will feel wearing heels.
Reply:You might want to practice wearing these new shoes before you wear them anywhere. I think the ball of the foot and the calves of your legs is where you will feel the stress from wearing this type of shoe.

Finish Line or Footlocker (it might only be one of the two, go to both places) sell shoe cleaner that are pretty cheap, like 5 bucks maybe. They come in cans and its like a foam.

How to get the blue from blue jeans off shoes?

So, my the dye from my jeans is getting on to my shoe, how do I get it off the shoe?

The part that is turning blue is somewhat of a tan, maybe olivish color. So I don't want my shoe to turn white because of some sort of chemical reaction.

Oxy Clean Works Great. Also Try Toothpaste =)
Reply:I would try the Tide-To-Go, OxyClean or a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on them.

If your shoes are leather, use a leather cleaner.

Ladies:do you prefer wearing round toe or pointy toe shoes?which is cuter/sexier?why?

men:what you think of women wearing round toe versus pointy toed shoes(flat shoes or heels)? does the type of shoes express part of their personality? if so,what? what's one word to describe women who wear a particular type of shoe?

ladies:why do you choose to wear the types of shoes that you wear? do you prefer comfort over style? does price matter when it comes to comfort or style? what do you think of other womens' shoe choices? trendy/tacky/etc?what are your thoughts?

if you don't care,don't answer.

Ladies:do you prefer wearing round toe or pointy toe shoes?which is cuter/sexier?why?
I think pointy toes are ridiculous. The type of woman who would wear such a clearly uncomfortable shoe for the sake of fashion (and they don't even look that good anyways) is one to be avoided.

And that's coming from a man who sells women's shoes for a living.
Reply:*i typed too fast and meant to say-statistically,has more experience Report It

Reply:from a guy's point.....i neva did like a pointy toe shoe on a lady. i think it looks sicking....rounded toe shoe is much nicer and sexier.....when you have a pair of legs attached to them. Report It

Reply:It depends on the outfit, but I love pointed toed shoes I think they are the sexiest except for sandal styles. I like shoes that are different, but if they are not comfortable I won't buy, trendy shoes are ok, but then I try not to buy shoes that I won't wear anymore. Price doesn't matter if I really like a shoe, although highest I've spent is around $175. I love a shoe sale!
Reply:For some reason i've always thought that pointy-toed shoes were really ugly. I always wear round toed or open toed shoes. If shoes that look really "pretty" (and uncomfortable) i'll buy them if they're cheap. Other than that I just buy a lot of flip-flops, cheap or not.
Reply:I think pointy toes look a mess and I wuld prefer round shoes. Price really doesnt matter when it comes to comfort or style
Reply:round toe for me, i have a wide foot so the pointy one is out for me
Reply:If they are too pointy, they are intimidating and can hurt your feet. Round toes can be very sexy and make your foot look smaller. I prefer them although I have some that are on the pointier side that I wear for business. I have heels, flats, sandals, probably 50 or so pairs of shoes, all different, so I'm not sure what they say about the personality - "Adaptable and ready for anything?" :)
Reply:round toe is cuter if it's a flat shoe; pointy toe is cuter if it's a heel or boot
Reply:Pointy toed heels are the sexiest!

With my personal opinion expressed, they type of shoe someone wears does say a lot about the personality, especially if the shoe is inappropriate for the situation. Flip flops at in an office, wrong! Heeled pumps at a teen-girls soccer tournament( I saw it last night) also wrong.
Reply:I like both depending on the outfit.

Can I get my money back if I was given false information about shoes?

I'm extremely angry. I've been wearing a pair of shoes for over a week now, and I just found out they aren't VEGAN.

My mother bought me these shoes as part of a Christmas gift, over a week ago. When she went to the shoe store one of the employees told my mother that the shoes are not made of the leather and that they're made of microfibers or something

and the tag inside the shoes didn't say "Made of leather" or anything mentioning leather was used, like most shoes do/should.

So, she bought them for me. I thought they were made of leather at first since they felt like leather, but since the employee said they were not and there are no tags in the shoe stating what that it comes from leather, I wore them.

Earlier today I did research and found out they were made out of Nubuck, which is a "top-grain cattle rawhide leather that has been sanded or buffed on the grain side"

Im extremely mad, the store employees gave FALSE INFORMATION and the shoes DO NOT state what they are made of.

Can I get my money back if I was given false information about shoes?
Carry a cardboard sign outside the store saying "FALSE ADVERTISING" or such. You'll get it.
Reply:i do unserstand where you are coming from, with the whole "you dont want want to use any animal products".my girlfriends family is very strictly vegan.but i will tell you this.polls have shown that nearly 32% of americans ARE vegetarian,an nearly 12% of americans are vegan.of that 12 percent, only about 25% of those live vegan lifestyles, choosing not to have ANY animal products in their life.what this means is,out of 1000 people, there would be 440 people that dont eat meat,120 people that dont eat any animal products, and only 40 that dont use any animal products.by what i hear, you fall into the vegan lifestyles category.but what all those numbers mean,is that there are 560 people that DO eat meat on an everyday basis.if these animals are going to be killed for food for those 560 people everyday, there is enough leather possibly to make maybe 150 pairs of shoes.if nobody buys these shoes, then the leather goes to waste.if i were you,i would BUY things with animal products(leather,feathers,etc.)...this helps the meaningness of the animal being killed, and helping to use EVERY part of the animal.im not telling you that you should EAT meat, but eat things that the animal doesnt have to die for or suffer for, such as milk and eggs and cream, and yogurt.but please, whatever you do,do not purchase any fur products,as people truly do kill these animals for nothing but the fur.
Reply:That sucks. :-( You absolutely should be able to get yuor money back. I would start by going to the store and calmly explaining your situation to a sales associate. If your mom remembers the name of the associate that would be a plus. Explain that you were misled and would like a refund. If this gets you nowhere, then ask to speak to a manager. This should work, or at the very least you should get store credit. I don't know what kind of store the shoes came from, but I am a manager at Old Navy and we pretty much always take stuff back, even if it's been worn. Just remember to bring your receipt. Hope you are successful!
Reply:Should approach the owner or manager of the store with a printout of the definition of what Nubuck is, the item, and a receipt of sale if your mom still has it.

Call your local DA and describe what happened and ask for advice and suggestions.

It is quite possible that the worker did not know and if so, would need that information. Simmer down, because it would be more effective to be in better mood and control when you return to the store or plan to handle this matter further.
Reply:If you've been wearing the shoes for a week they won't take them back.
Reply:Write a letter to the higher authority, and cc to PETA.

Why did i dream that I saw two spiders in my dream that were hard to kill but I managed with a shoe?

I kept trying and trying to kill the spiders with a flip flop and it was hard but eventually I did. My husband was there walking around in his underwear and i was trying to cover him up. But the most vivid part of my dream was the spiders. what could this mean?

Why did i dream that I saw two spiders in my dream that were hard to kill but I managed with a shoe?
Maybe you have either worries or unhealthy conditions before sleep!
Reply:Possibly you and your husband are facing a threat that only you seem to want to deal with. His vunerablilty in the situation and lack of intrest to prorect himself have you running franticly to fix things. i dunno maybe;)
Reply:Let me analyze the dream for you.

Spiders = insect most people fear or just fear

flip flop = light weapon, help

Husband trying to cover him up = shame, protection

Basically, this dream is about some fear you may have, and yet your hubby was not helping. All you project him is shame. You are getting help from something else or someone else. Flip flops can mean some friends/relatives other than your husband. For some reason, you husband is not helping you but covering himself up. Either this is the way you see him in reality which means he is not a manly type. You are trying to protect him from your fear. You don't want anything to hurt him. The spiders symbolizes fear. Although your dream does not say much about your husband, more or less you are the one who is in control in your dream.

If I am not mistaken, in your household your husband love you very much and like to listen to you all the time. You are more like the head of the household, you probably make most of the decision rather than your hubby. This dream you have subconsciously tells me that you are having lots of responsibilities in the household. You are like a strong woman type.

I could be wrong, but this is how I see from your dream

When I stand on my feet I notice my balance/weight goes to the outside parts of my feet. Can I correct this?

It is like I am standing on the otuside rims of my feet. My outside toes (the pinky one and the one next to it) seem to get alot of my weight and balance. I notice my shoes somewhat bend that way as well. I am not bowl-legged, however. Is there a name for this or a way to even the pressure on my feet?

You can go see a podiatrist and have him prescribe you special pads to put in your shoes to even out your weight.
Reply:Like Bob said, a podiatrist (foot doctor) can help you. I have the opposite problem, my feet go in. I went to the Podiatrist and he made some arch supports for me. I've been wearing them for half my life and they help a lot. A podiatrist can make you some supports that help your feet, too.

Thinking logically, if God is everywhere and knows everything, then are we not parts of God?

If not, how does God have all this presence and all this knowledge? Doesn't God have to be the ultimate compassionate machine and in doing so doesn't God have to be able to walk the mile in all the shoes all the time?

Thinking logically, if God is everywhere and knows everything, then are we not parts of God?
Yes, god is everywhere.

God is in you, god is in me.

God is in a victim, god is in a killer (It doesnt mean God kills god).

God is in rapist, god is in rapped girl (It doesnt mean God rapes)
Reply:Youre looking at Gods presence more in eyes of an eastern philosopher more than a theist. Where is Gods presence in this world according to the Bible? Back in the OT, he was in the temple some of the time. In the NT, his Holy Spirit is within those who have accepted Jesus as LORD.

God has walked in our shoes because Jesus came down in human form and was tempted with everything we are tempted with. But Gods compassion doesnt mean there isnt going to be justice against sin.
Reply:You are right. Man is a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. God is a Spirit. So man's spirit is part of God. If we are not a Christian our spirits are dead to God. Only Christians who have the Holy Spirit in them have spirits which are alive God and able to communicate and walk with God. God who is ominpresence can still watch over a non-Christian from outside of him.

Reply:God is not in the universe She is the universe.

She created the universe from the only thing that She had available, Herself.

You and the most distant star from you in the universe both exist within the idea of God.

This is a difficult concept for most people to comprehend because they have been taught nonsense about God. Like the idea that God lives far away on a cloud called heaven. God is not a raindrop. Raindrops live in clouds Not God. This is foolishness.

Jesus told us that the kingdom of God is within us. This is true because each and every one of us exist as a part of God. We live and move within our loving source. There is no moment or possibility that we can ever be apart from her.

There is no point where God stops and something else begins. All of it is God.

Forget the silly stories that you have been told about a distant God that lives in the clouds. Look around you. Everything that you see is God.

Love and blessings.

Reply:Yes, you are fabulously correct --what you're saying is actually one of the ancient mysteries! Each one of us represents a facet of the greater being, each experience is a part of the greater resulting in an infinite being containing all experiences. This same thing is taught in many different beliefs and cultures, the ancient Egyptians, the Norse, Kabbala, in fact I think it's somewhere in the Bible, but mind you, it isn't quite /put/ in the manner you're thinking, but the end result is the same: often it's spoken the source extends itself into all things, empowering them.

However, I think you're trying to say if God is All Pervasive,Omniscient and Omnipotent, then are we all not a part of God?

Of course, was there ever any question about that?

Is not the child a part of the Father?

His own flesh and blood?

I think the rest of your "Questions" just became academic.

Have a nice day.
Reply:It's religion. It doesn't have to make sense.
Reply:You are Correct!

2000 Ford Windstar-Front end chatters when applying brakes. Have installed all new parts front & back???

Front end chatters, acts as if the roters are warped real bad, but i have replaced roters, calipers and pads on the front. New drums and shoes on the back. New ABS system pump. 7,000 miles on new set of tires just rotated and balanced. New speed sensor also.

I dunno if you had a shop do the work or you did it yourself. I've seen pads %26amp; misc. parts installed wrong on disc %26amp; drum brakes. Maybe a good inspection. ( ? ) Good Luck
Reply:Take it back who did the work%26gt;%26gt;........something is wrong...maybe ball joint or tie rods too.Did it do it right after and before installing these parts?
Reply:Well,If you intalled the rotors on the front right from the box, that's the problem-If you read on the box that the rotors come in you will find on all of them the words:DO NOT STORE FLAT. But if you look at the shelves at the auto parts store, that's exactly how they do store them! weight from the ones on the top of the stack will gradually warp the ones on the bottom-in my shop we resurface EVERY ROTOR that we install-and thay are always warped beforehand!. Pull the rotors off and have them resurfaced-trust me! also make sure the wheel/rotor contact surfaces are clean and torque the wheels to factory specs. this should clear up this very common problem...the rear brakes must also be adjusted properly to ensure proper distribution of force between front and rear.out of adjustment rear brakes put alot of strain on the front brakes and can overheat them-that's what causes the to "warp"-actually the prob is parralellism, but that's a whole chapter its self-just have them resurfaced- speed sensor is not a factor here-abs pump is not a factor either as a malfunction here disables the abs anyway-no amber abs light? don't mess with that system. you may see spots on the rotors that look different than the rest of the rotor-not color, but will literally look like bright shiny small spots. these rotors need to be replaced, these spots won't come out.they will also cause shaking brakes. they are called "hot spots".hope this helps-message back if any questions and I will respond. willoroy@yahoo.com
Reply:not know to a consumer is that even brand new brake rotors and drums can be out of round. my neighbor just went thru that with his dodge product. have the brake and rotor checked for runout and also checks the wheels. 1 pothole can make a wheel run out of round
Reply:Probably the module of the abs pump is bad, or a bad wheel sensor
Reply:if you have high mileage vehical,it could be a number of things wrong, especially if it is front wheel drive.if you have racket-pinion steering, worn struts or broken, wheel bearing bad, stabiliser arm bushing worn, but, hey if you want to try to solve problem, maybe i can help.my name is Alan,email,ctymol@yahoo,com maybe we can find prob,OK?i do all the work on my cars,so if you like email me,we'll see what we can do. good luck.

Ok, problem. I recently got married last december and feel as if I have stumbled into some crazy Red Shoe ..?

What happened later when her sister brought out cowboy hats, black paint and ritz crackers is when it got a little weird. She wanted me and her husband to paint each othe black while wearing cowboy hats and eating ritz crackers. I said no but she was persistent and proceeded to bust out other props that she wanted us to use like - 1. an expired library card 2. A fake shark fin 3. 1993 national geographic magazine 4. Some origami roosters and last but not least 5. Charles in Charge Scott Baio autographed poster. I mean i think she could need some real help here! She also howls when she sleeps. What should I do?????

Ok call me crazy but I see nothing wrong with that particular alternative lifestyle...I've heard of gay, black, cowboy, cracker-lovin' before. It's like the new thing. Also props are encouraged with the new "alties" as I like to call them. The only puzzeling thing here is the expired library card...perhaps alittle librarian fetish mixed in??? Well the reason why I ask that is I was daddys little girl and through the years my Mom hated it and she was actually jealous as stupid as it was that was what her problem was. For about 1 year my Dad and I weren't as close and my Mom and I had the best relationship ever this is when I realized what her problem was. Why don't you try sitting down with your Mom and explaining how you feel. It never worked for me but it may work for you and even if it doesn't work at least she will see that this is bothering you. Let her know that you feel that you are always the one in trouble and that she may not be being being fair to you sometimes. Maybe you can offer to help fix the wall It really won't be that hard and ask her if you do help it and maybe help around the house if she would maybe let this one slide because your brothers were hitting you and stuff and you were just trying to defend yourself. When I was younger my Mom took me to see a councelor and on one of the sessions she called my Mom in and said that if she seen one more bruise on me that she was gonna call Social Services. You need to make your Mom understand that you are suffering abuse at the hands of youjr brothers and you can't deal with it anymore! I hope this helps you some and I hope it gets better nobody deserves to live in a situation like that. I know because I also did and just because they are you brothers it's still abuse!

Good luck sweetie I hope this helps

I am very self-concious about many different parts of my body. How do I get over it?

Most people would look at me and ask what in the hell I have to be self-concious about and all the does for me is prove that I disquise my "faults" well. It ranges from minor things, like the scars all over my legs (clumsy child) to things that I just hate about myself like my toenails which refuse to grow. I was actually recently asked if I had surgery on my chin. I almost choked! Thats exactly the reason I live in Hawaii and dont own a single pair of shorts. And as far as the nails. I bite my finger nails really bad and Im embarassed to wear sandles or open toed shoes in fear that someone will think I chew my toe nails, no joke!

I was wondering how I can battle this anxiety that I have because it controls my life. It deters me from dating, and even forces me to make excuses for why I dont want to do certain things, like go get a pedicure for instnace.

There are many other things that bother me but, its not about whats wrong, but how I can learn to love myself more.

Thanks

I am very self-concious about many different parts of my body. How do I get over it?
Look in the mirror. You see that face? That's the face your parents fell in love with the day you were born. They loved every single inch of you without reservation. They saw absolutely no fault with you. Had someone challenged them and laughed at your pointy little head and knobby little knees, you parents would have punched them in the neck for the vile lies they told. You don't have to be perfect to be loved. You don't have to be perfect to be happy. You have to look at yourself and love yourself like you deserve to be loved.
Reply:Well it's ok to be different, but you have to think no one is perfect and there are worse people out there then you. Go easy on yourself and love you for you. We are all beautiful in our own way and the things you are self concious about is absolutely not worrying over. love life love you .
Reply:Hailey have a look at this site and have a think, good luck and happy new year
Reply:hmmm...well i am like that too, and i have alittle cellulite (which people say isnt there) and i refuse to wear shorts in the summer. so i heard that having a tan helps reduce the look, so i started tanning. u live in hawaii, but if u dont wear shorts are ur legs tan? it really works for disguising things like scars, veins, etc

ur toenails, if u want them to look better, (my sis atually has this exact problem) go to a store and get fake nails, they actually have fake toenails for this prob! do them urself and see how u like it. there is a cure for everything, believe me, i am the hardest person on myself. i see every tiny flaw i have because i know what isnt as good as it could be!
Reply:I can totally relate. We live in a society where girls are made to think that they must have perfect skin, nails, bodies to value themselves. Honestly, you are the only one that notices these minor flaws though and if someone points them out in disgust then thats not the kind of person you want to be around.

I have been through counseling to increase my self esteem and positive body image but it is a continuous struggle especially when every time I turn on the television or go to the grocery store airbrushed models creep into my subconscious.

There are several things I do to get over my body image issues.

On my bathroom mirror I have a colorful sign that read "Good Morning Gorgeous". This helps me to internalize good self esteem.

I take the time to pamper myself. Treat yourself like you would want others to treat you if you were completely paralyzed and couldnt do anything for yourself.

Give yourself a manicure, even if you do bite your nails. You can atleast file and buff them and apply clear nail polish. Trust me, it will help. Same for your toenails. Who cares how short they are, you can still file them evenly yourself and maybe even put some colored polish to spice it up. If you're diligent about taking care of your nails yourself, eventually you will take some pride in them and feel empowered to treat yourself to a professional job.

Heres a link with some nail tips... http://beauty.about.com/cs/gorgeousnails...

Another link with some tips on how to stop nail biting.....http://www.wikihow.com/Stop-Biting-Your-...

You cant do much about your scars, creams are for the most part ineffective and laser treatments are really expensive but you can make sure to moisturize your legs every day. I like Jergens natural glow lotion. The slight sheen it gives your legs hide minor imperfections

http://www.jergens.com/Our_Collection/Pr...

The best solution though is mental. Develop a self worth mantra to repeat in your head throughout the day. Seek out self help books and websites. I dont know if you go to school but if you do you can seek out a school counselor to help you build your self esteem and provide you with additional materials. Otherwise there are many mental health counselors in Hawaii that can help. Do some research.

Good luck and hopefully you can overcome your inner battles.
Reply:im like you too!!

i think being around people that really like you is always a good way to help it.

but when you get home again you feel down about it.

seriously.. i know what it feels to be like you, im still like that.

you have to just look in the mirror and believe in yourself. closely and it may take time, but a friend once told me i was soo pretty she didnt know why i was getting myself down.

good luck.

Reply:I don't know about you but I love me for who I am not for what I look like or the faults I have. I think you need to focus on the positive and not the negative. Who cares what anyone else thinks..Just be you!
Reply:My advice to you and all the other girls or women out on this earth is to not to look at the bad things about yourself but to think of the posotive and apreciate how beautiful you really are.Even if it is on the outside or on the inside. I am completely aware of how important it is to most girls out there to look well pretty but there is much important things out there. I'm not saying that looks are not important I am telling you that there is more things out there to please every girl individually acording to your uniqe talents. You probably are thinking what is she talking about I love to feel beautiful this is fine but dont get to cocky about your looks because not everyone can be as so called ''skinny'' we all come in different shapes and sizes this is what makes us beautiful and different then everyone. What I am saying does not mean that you have to over wieght to be beautiful and I'm not saying that being obese is a good thing but to not feel that everyone's opinion is going to ditermen if you are beautiful or not

-tinytoodagurl01

ps: I hope I have inspired all ladies that read this remember the beauty inside you is much more important than the looks on the outside.

pps:By the way I hope you still take my advice knowing that I am only 12 yrs. old this doesnt mean that I am not aware
Reply:You need a professional to help you with this. Find a mental health professional and talk with him/her to find the answers.
Reply:I think you've identified the problem. You need to love yourself more.

Nobody is perfect. We all have flaws of one sort or another. If you are able to disguise them or to distract people from them with good things in your appearance you are doing as much as you can do.

You sound like a nice person. Focus on your personality and let it shine through. Most people probably see you the way you really are to other people--less flawed than the way you see yourself.
Reply:You might start with a less critical approach to your body that includes staying away from any mirrors. Be less focused on your body and more focused on academic performance.
Reply:focus on the things you do like about yourself , we all have insecurities , i don't like my feet either , i had them straightened as a child , but i don't even see the scars ! its about putting things into perspective , i don't like my feet but think my ankles are nice , i like my eyes but think my lips are too thin . overall i don't think i look bad even though my feet lips etc ......you sound like you lack in confidence and that's holding you back from the fantastic life your supposed to be living , try walking on the beach barefoot enjoy the sand between your toes , you might feel anxious the first time you do it but i promise you the second time will be easier the third a doddle , and go for a pedicure , we have seen it all before ! honest , you'll be surprised how wonder full your feet look and feel after , good luck X
Reply:You have really low self esteem !

Sorry but its true !

Rather than thinking about the parts of your body you don't like, think about the parts you do !! Everyone gets a bit self concious sometimes about their body - i burnt my toe with my straightners (don't ask) and didn't want to wear flip flops on holiday. But then i realised how stupid i was being - i mean nobody even noticed it !!

So go and wear shorts your lucky enough to live in Hawaii. I'm sure its not that bad. Be confident your unique !

TOE nails easy stop biting them and wear sandals !!

You can use this nail polish called stop and grow !!

OK good luck hope i can help !!!

What would you do if you were in my shoe?

Three months ago a girl called on my cell-phone and told me that she want to be my friend. I was reluctant at that time but, I agreed on the next day when she calls again. That girl become a good friend and, we call each other almost every day and talk things that we both enjoy. We have many things in common but she has told me that she is a different religion believer. The most interesting part is I am almost falling for her now.I don't know what I have to do now.

If any body in the family finds out that I'm having a relation with such a girl,it will be the end of the world for me.They are very strict when it comes to religion.

I'm really worried and don't know what I have to do.Do you think I have to tell her every thing and continue with her and let the things with my family get flamed?

Plz,I need your advice.

What would you do if you were in my shoe?
This is a tough question. You didn't mention your age at all which only matters becouse of maturity. Religion should not be a prejudice for people but often it becomes one becouse of the moral issues. Your parents have tried to raise you to embrace their beliefs and their values and virtues. This girl maybe the greatest person on earth and you should be able to persue a relationship with her on your own judgement but realistically your parents will have an impact. If you are a young teenager you have a lot of years to establish relationships and explore your beliefs and in the meantime you need to live with your folks. Can you be okay with sneaking around with this girl? How might that effect your homelife or your relationship with the girl. Personally I'd be honest with my folks and with your friend and try to give your parents sensible reasons for your relationship. You sound like a great guy and I have a feeling lying or hiding from your folks will only hurt you.
Reply:Of course that depends to some degree upon your age. If you still depend upon your family to support you then they do have a right to some input on this. If you are independent then you have a right to make your own decisions. If your religion is one which you are forced to comply with that is a problem within itself. If you are in fact getting serious with this girl then you should be open and honest with her.
Reply:If you really care for this person it would be in the best interest for you both to be up honest. It's a huge possibility that if you both are in different religions that it will cause division later on between the both of you if neither of you is willing to change.
Reply:You need to determine if the religion issue is more important for you. And maybe if you talk to them and compromise on the religion thing it will work out.
Reply:Are you living your life for you or for your family? That's the question. Who is this girl? Did you know her before she phoned or was it an accident that you spoke? Have you met her yet? If you haven't, you should. It's easy to fall for a voice on a phone, it's totally different to meet them in person. Take it slowly before you make a decision.
Reply:to be honest and realistic you have to tell them about this girl because they are and WERE your world before this girl.
Reply:Honesty is always the best policy. And...just because your parents choice of religion is correct for them...maybe it is not right for you? And what type of girl is this...is she really not your type, either? I know I didn't really give you advice, but I need more information. I wish you the best of luck
Reply:If you really like the girl and think she could be the one, I would say be with her. But if family is more important then your own happiness then tell her. I think religion should not matter as long as you both love each other and there are ways to work it out. Good Luck.
Reply:Perhaps start dating her...Get to know her better in terms of personality.

She might be a very good person after all; one that your family would appreciate.

http://www.freewebs.com/infosource100/lo...
Reply:You cannot fall for anyone you have not met. Where did she get your number in the first place, I would be concerned about that and ask her. I would stop talking to her. That is a pretty strange situation and she is probably trying to get information from you for a scam or something. Has she given you any information about herself? I would start asking for that, start asking questions, it is probably just someone you know playing tricks on you.
Reply:Well I feel when it comes to religion, if you don't draw a person to think like you do, then more than likely they'll draw you to think like them. So you have to be careful with who you're hanging out with that is if you have a certain standard that you're trying to uphold.
Reply:I wouldn't give up on the relationship, although it is too soon to know if she is "the one" and it is worth it to get into a family battle over it.

I would be honest with my family. Tell them you have a friend and introduce her to them. Let them know about her religion, once they meet her, they may become more open minded.
Reply:Family doesn't need to know everything immediately. Have the two of you ever met in person?

I would wait to tell your family until you have met, and gone on actual dates, and know without a doubt that she is the ONE.

If she is indeed the one for you, then it will be worht inflaming your family, and who knows, maybe they'll come around...
Reply:u dont need to tell ur family everything, its none of their business what religion she is

Is it true that the bigger the guy's shoe size the bigger his ___? Please read details.?

If not then how can we tell? Not that size matters, but if guys can tell how big are boobs are we should be able to tell how big his ___ is, shouldn't we? Is there any part on his body that gives us an indication?

Is it true that the bigger the guy's shoe size the bigger his ___? Please read details.?
the foot ha sno relation. the base of habd to middle finger is however a good measure (most of times) and true for me and many of my freinds.

but the most important you girls should know that we guys never mind it if a girl asks about our penis size from us and even many guys will be ready to show their penis if girl wants and place is private. in fact such a question asked by a girl turns me on. I have a wish from long time that some girl should ask me about my size but it never happened...ahh...
Reply:lol, well if you are married i am sure u have already seen his "_____". Bust out a tape measure!!! LOL
Reply:it's definitely not true, out of my 3 exboyfriends 2 of them had small feet and 1 of them had small feet and they all had a big d***
Reply:his hands....for the end of his palm to the tip of the middle finger....i think...that's what my friends told me......so go measure! ^.^
Reply:NO part at all!!!!!!! Another old wives tale that is full of ****. I wish it were true, at least.
Reply:Absolutely not ...

bigger feet / shoe size does not necessary bigger dic.k ...

maybe bigger mouth ...

determine size of dic.k base on the neck long or short
Reply:that is complete bogus.

i've seen guys with small feet %26amp;%26amp; the area is way huge.

i've also seen guys with small feet %26amp;%26amp; a small penis.

a guy with big feet %26amp;%26amp; small penis

a guy with big feet %26amp;%26amp; big penis.

you can't judge a guy on his shoe size it's a total myth.
Reply:No.

(Also there's little to no correlation to how tall or big he is, how big his nose is, how big is hands, or thumb is, or the distance between the tip of his thumb and the tip of his index finger when he makes the letter "L" with them, or how much hair he has on his head/chest/back.)

The best indication is to sneek a peak when he's wearing jeans or bike shorts. If it looks like he's...eh hemm...

"filling them out" in the front...well, there's a reason for that now isn't there! :)
Reply:Well if you were married why in the world are you wondering about size of a mans ___! Come on now; be real...
Reply:If you are married, you still must be young or you are very uneducated. Shoe size has nothing to do with it. That is like saying if we have big hands, our butts are bigger? Size doesn't matter in boobs or a man's penis. If you are married why are you worrying about telling how big a man's penis is anyways? Your husbands is the only one you should care about and hopefully you already know how big or little, as the case may be, it is.
Reply:I have a 10x1/2 inch foot. When I was in my 20's I had a 8 inch willy. Now that I am 50, my foot is wider and sill 10x1/2 inch's. My Willy is still 1x3/4 wide, and is now 1x12 inch's shorter. My ball sack hangs lower. If I live another 50 years, that dam thing will be dragging on the ground. And my Willy?
Reply:You have a point but life is just not fair! His size is not directly related to a man's height, weight, body structure or ethnicity. Despite everything we have heard, the size a man's hand, foot, thumb, or nose also does not hold a clue!
Reply:For me it is my shoe size and it is accurate.
Reply:There is no true way to determine the size of it. The same way that a man can't determine the size of a girl's ____ just by looking at her.
Reply:yah...there is another way to determined...

well when his butt is small then his ___ is big...

and when his butt is big it means it is small..lol

....my aunt tell those things to me..and she said that it is tested and proven..;)
Reply:Generally, it's true. You can actually calculate his penis size by his shoe size, keeping in mind that this is on average. What you do is take his shoe size, let's say 12, divide it by 2 = 6 and add .5. So a man with size shoes should have a 6.5 length penis. Another way to tell is by his hand. From the base of his hand to the tip of his middle finger should roughly be how long his erected penis is.

After many emberassed answers from my male friends, this is what I deduce. ^^
Reply:Well from what ive noticed guys are usually just like there body if they are tall and skinney their__ will be tall and skinny if thier short and fat then it will be short and fat. Now this isnt always true but about 75% of the time it is.
Reply:Size is nothing, satisfaction and and understanding is the key.

A guy that is small in size but potent can never be compared with a guy that is big in size but impotent.

Don't always accept big things, fitted sizes can be good and perfect you know.

My dear, leave sizes and think about your future which is of more important to you and to us.
Reply:my brothers thing is small but his feet are big
Reply:Hand size is a good indicator.

A guys penis size is usually the same as the distance from the tip of his middle finger to the bottom of his hand.

If a guy has thick fingers, he probably has a thick penis and vice-versa.

You could just ask him to whip it out too.
Reply:lol, ive heard the myth and no its not like that. you cant measure a man with his shoes size, nose, ears etc. its all bases on genes. either you get it or you dont.
Reply:It's a complete and total myth.

Example: Size 8 shoe and very well endowed guy. That's all I need to say.

I don't know if there is a "tell" for that feature. Although, if a guy hangs on to a girl or wife for decades. That might be a good sign. Because, I've noticed that this guy did.
Reply:if your married why are you worried about how big he is. your husbands size should be the only one you should be thinking of not other guys. size does not matter it's a thing called love
Reply:This is a complete myth. Shoe size doesn't give insight to how big his member is. If that is true, clowns must make porn stars look like light switches. LOL

Unless he is into ballet and you can see his package through his tights, then there is no way you can definitively know how big he is until he disrobes.
Reply:No, you can't. Or I would wear a size 16 instead of a size 11.

But we can't tell how deep you are just by looking at you.
Reply:I dont think so. MY foot is bigger than my bf's, yet his _____ is about 8-9 inches...so no, thats not true. The only way we can tell is tight pants??or asking
Reply:It's true, a big johnson is important and I think we all have the right to know if a guy has an enormous johnson or just a baby johnson. How else can us girls decide who we want to date!
Reply:No, it is not true. Actually shoe size relates more to how big your feet have to be able to hold your weight up when you are standing. For example, one of my best friends is the same weight I was when I was at my heaviest, therefore, we have about the same shoe size. It has nothing to do with our --------'s size.

As far as I know there is no way to tell how big a guy's -------- is until it is too late.
Reply:well my shoe size is 11 and well my junk really doesn't match up. a guy with a size 6 shoe is probably more my size.

How can i get gum off my shoe?
put it in thr freezer for about 30 mins and break away the frozen gum :)
Reply:Stick you shoe in the freezer for a while then the gum will harden up and you can get the gum off.

also WD40 will work too.
Reply:I use "gunk remover" from the hardware store. It is like lighter fluid works perfect.
Reply:Olive Oil or bread crumbs
Reply:Try using some Goo Gone and a paper towel. The Goo Gone should dissolve the gum and wipe right off.

Super cool tip...to take dirt marks off of the white rubber on Converse or similar shoes, use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I've kept my spring low tops looking like brand new for two years now with that trick. Dirt and scuff marks just rub right off!
Reply:spray it with wd-40 and let it sit @5minutes then try to remove it. If it still wont come off spray it again then try it. Hope this helps!!( it got the gum out of my carpet)
Reply:Peanut Butter!! Put PB on in and scrub in off with a paper towel or rag. Keep applying and scrubbing and it will come off!

Which parts will need to be replaced first?

I have had from new a seven year old Toyota Yaris, I have replaced the tyres and nothing else, vehicle is regularily serviced. 60,000 miles on clock.

Which bits of the car will need replacing soonest? Many years ago I had Ford Fiestas, they tended to need shock absorbers, brake shoes, alternators and starter motors after 5 years.

Can I expect a similar " wearing out " schedule with a Yaris, perhaps at 8 or so years old?

The guy who MOTs the vehicle every year reckons it should run 12 years with no major repairs, Is this too optimistic?

Which parts will need to be replaced first?
With such a low mileage, and regular servicing, I don't expect more than wiper blades, tyres and the odd lamp.

Maybe an exhaust if its mostly short trips.
Reply:100,000 miles for brake pads on a regular non-hybrid car?

You are an accident waiting to happen. Report It

Reply:The parts that need regular replacement would be brake pads. They typically last around 30,000 miles for average compact cars. Rotors might need replacement every 2-3 brake pad changes.

Tires need replacement when the treads are worn down to less than 1/8" depth.

Batteries need replacement when they no longer hold enough charge to crankstart a car. Usually after 4-5 years.

Fluids and filters need regular replacement of course.. Motor oil, transmission fluid, radiator coolant.

Engine tuneup after 5 years might be a good idea.. Replace timing belt if it's too worn, sparkplug cables if the insulation are beginning to fray, etc.

Properly maintained and not abused, the vitals (engine, transmission, drivetrain) should last a long time, yes.
Reply:As with all Japanese cars, keep a look out for rust as this is the single biggest killer of any Japanese car. The mechanicals last beyond the bodies!

I would change the belts at 30,000 miles, Oil every 6,000 miles, tyres every 2 years or 15,000 miles (whichever first) and brakes 20-25,000 miles. This is how I run my cars and they see me 100,000 miles upwards! (Scenic 160k, Pug 106 120k, Clio 145k)

I would get the car serviced to the schedule (10-12,000 miles) as well as the above just to make sure. Also niggles like bulbs, wipers etc are common and easy to replace so not counted in service or maintenance.

Hope this helps.
Reply:Nothing major needs to be replaced but make sure to keep up your fluid levels, replace your oil on time, change the water pump and timing belt about every 60K miles, bulbs when they burn out, brake pads and rotors when needed, etc.
Reply:If it has a timing belt?Check when it should be replaced, on mileage and/or age?Hope this helps, and yes it a good car.
Reply:No, he is right. Toyota and Lexus seem to be designed and built to last almost for ever. In fact, all of the Japanese cars are the same.

What parts do I need to change my LH Torana from drum to disc front?

It currently has four wheel drums with no booster , so I'm wondering if the original pedal will fit the disc master cyl. I'm pretty sure I'll need different bore wheel cyl.s at the back but how about the rear shoes/drums?

What parts do I need to change my LH Torana from drum to disc front?
it would be a lot easier if you could find a whole car like yours that had disc brakes on it,,then you would have all the parts you will need to do it with,,if you do it like this its going to cost you a lot,,because some of the parts you will have to buy new,,and it will take 2 pages for me to write,,out, all you would need to do the job right with,,i am a certified mechanic of 35 yrs,,and have changed a bunch of old card over,,but it does take a lot of parts,,i hope this help,s.

What would you do if you were in my shoe?

I need your say about this.

Now I’m working in Dubai on temporary basis. It’s like a job mission.

I’m very tempted to change this into a permanent career, meaning, I would be there for the next twenty years or so. Then I would have to take my family along with me (I could not live without them for long)

In short, this is a HUGE decision to make, already consulting with my family and they are hesitant about it. Please, I need your feedback and I do value your advice very much.

Note:

Part of me is very attached to Egypt and the other part is tempted to leave.

Despite all the glamour and fancy places I can find here in Dubai, all I can feel right now is (Home Sickness).

What would you do if you were in my shoe?
Listen Salah, i m a home sick too..

but to tell you the truth, the place here is aweful to live in, and it's getting worse, i had thought of what you are thinking too many times, but i am the only son of my parents and i think they need me around.

so..if you don't have solid reasons (besides home sickness) that can make you stay, then go..

think of the quality of life you'll provide to your children, besides you are not too far away from home afterall.

If you don't have a very good rewarding job here in Egypt, then go..

Don't say no to an opportunity like that, you may regret it, besides who knows what will be tomorrow!? The situation here is not encouraging

I am working here in a respectable industry with good money but i am afraid of tomorrow you know, the state is collapsing, i may find the money i am earning every month, becomes in some black day, as good as toilet paper, if you know what i mean..

so i advise you not to let the opportunity go..

And good luck man..
Reply:go for the money,i would.
Reply:If it is a good, dignified and rewarding position then take it.

As Kalooka said, things here in Egypt are not the best there is at the moment and a good opportunity is a good opportunity regardless of its place.

The first few months are always the most difficult, but then homesikness fades away in the background with the hussle of work and life. I know this because I've lived the experience many time...

But again you are the only judge of your life here in Egypt and you are the only one who can weight the pros and the cons. Just think about it in a rational way, without emotions, and twakal 3alla Allah.
Reply:Yes, this is a huge decision for you to make so it's just right for you to include your family in your decision-making. Moving to another place is such a scary thing to do, better yet, moving to another country! I can totally relate to your situation. I moved to Canada 12 years ago from the Philippines because it being a Third World country, I know that my kids will have better future living abroad. Stress, anxiety, nervousness, listlessness...name all the negative feelings you could name, I have experienced that while trying to decide if I should leave my country or not.

Are you sure though that you'll be able to take your family with you in UAE? I suggest that you weigh things out. What are the pros and cons of leaving Egypt and start a new life in Dubai?

Homesickness will always be a part of being away from your home country regardless if your entire family is with you or not. There is truly no place like home.

I wish you goodluck...
Reply:I've been in Dubai almost 2 years

before I came here I was in a good job in Egypt I earned around 5000 LE / Month but it wasn't a permanent job, but I didn't care that much as I had every thing in Egypt (apartment , car, wife, good living standards) so I wasn't very much tempted to live Egypt

But I came here just for curiosity to see what's the deal with UAE?

to tell you the truth, the 1st year was very hard in terms of financial conditions as I got may wife %26amp; kid with me after couple of months %26amp; also the Home sickness %26amp; all the things I'm sure you have an idea about it

But now it's getting much better, there are millions of oppertunities in this country, you can easily develop your self %26amp; get the best of it.

I'm telling you ,you can live your dreams here %26amp; have a very good life for you %26amp; your family.

you need to be patient %26amp; behave your self %26amp; beleive that only Allah will help you here

Pray estekharaa %26amp; Go for it . inshaa Allah it will be a good chance

you can email me if you need any details for living here.
Reply:it's hard to me to write and tell you it's better Brother to stay your coming years inshaa Allah in UAE :-(

but when we regard your job and family here, then they deserve to be in a better situation if it's in your ability.......... if you find that settling in UAE will achieve inshaa Allah your dreams and provide a good respectable living to you and your family........... then do it dude.

always remember Brother, that all are Allah's lands, sure we have our country and our loyalty to it as well as sickness, but still you have to seek the better work and living if the chance is available.......... and it appears to be, so don't miss it.

i just want to tell you that i'm avoiding my tears to run down while writing this message.............. because i always hate that my siblings leave this beautiful Egypt and leave me, to travel and earn a life in another country......... but this is life :-(

hope you all success and my love to you and your family :'-)

but please, at least Salah, communicate with us here in YA!............ please!!

Reply:making your career is more important at this stage of your life

because the more successful/setteled u are in ur career the more happy life u can afford for ur family...

remember one has to loose something to gain something bigger...

so

try to live without ur family and work hard then within next few years u can cal ur famly with u...

next option is to look for a better job in Egypt on the basis of ur current job experience

good luck...
Reply:Most of Egyptian families don't want to leave Egypt, but you can decide to keep your family with you on partial basis, like in summer vacation they can visit you for two and half months and in December you may go on your yearly vacation for one month.
Reply:.

Salah ............ I'm in a dilemma ............ really :-(

I know that home sickness is unbearable, but after all you have a family to which you have to earn a living .

and here in Egypt income is not satisfactory at all except in rare cases.

so,sadly,i advice you to stay in Dubai and visit Egypt in vacations ........

Tell you what, Salah, personally, my father once got the chance to work in Saudi Arabia, but he declined coz of us-his family- and my mom also encouraged him not to go ......... you know coz of being a one whole family ............ it's important of course ....... but we come to regret it now coz if he have thought seriously,we could have joined him there later , but he also was sooooooooooooooooooooo afraid of home sickness.

that's why i tell you to stay and earn a good living for the sake of your family ................

after all it's LIFE !!! so one has to choose the less risky way

for me,being in Egypt is more risky than staying in Dubai

BTW,Salah, thanks soooooooo much for your defending me.

May Allah guide, bless and protect you and your family.
Reply:I can tell you the part I know much , health care , if you wanted me to recommend a doctor here for any thing I may recommend one or two in a big town like Cairo , the system suck , and I can't trust most doctors here , while in Dubai you have , a very good system , and an income that will cover all of Ur requirements , stay at Dubai , don't come back unless in vacations .
Reply:Hello Salah,

You ve been given some great answers here, i have been living in UAE the past year, so yr dilemma is still fresh in my mind.

I can only assure u of this, things will be much easier for u and yr family if u are all together in Dubai. I am sure as a father u want to provide for yr family a good quality of life, i don't mean only money-wise but in terms of a better education, health care, even everyday living. Also, u have to consider the fact that u r learning more by being around many cultures and new experiences that will add to yr expertise and knowledge.

It is a huge step, pray estekharah and may Allah (swt) guide u to what is good for u and yr family.

Finally, why don't u try it for a year or two and if u can't go through with it come back. Afterall, Dubai is only a 4 hour flight away from Egypt, nearer than Sharm or Hurghada if u r driving.

What if my shoe had a rabbit in it?

If my sho e had a rabbit in it then I would step on the rabbit and then the rabbits guts would shoot in my face and then a boy would say ooh i love them rabbit guts and then he would lick my face and i would eat his tounge but then I would get arrested but then after I got arressted then my burger shop would close down and the magician that lives on wire road would come and bail me out but it would be too late because the bricks in the jail cell would come loose and crush me and it would just be me broken in pieces and so then he would sow me together again but forget my nose so i couldn't smell my way home to my baby elisha and she followed me and she had red eyes and she killed the magician and dragged me around by the arms and they fell off because they were just barely sowed on and she would eat my arms and my husband would get mad because my arms were the best part about me and throw a chainsaw at elisha's head, and then lucy in the sky of diamonds would come down from the sky...

My new right shoe is loose. What should I do?

The back of my "righty" vans is loose. I don't know why. I think someone wore them out. How should I fix this problem? When I walk, it goes up a little more than my left. But it bothers me, so any suggestions? I think it's only the back part.

Thanks [:

My new right shoe is loose. What should I do?
Maybe one of your feet is a bit larger than the other. My right foot is larger than my left. You could try shoe insoles, they sell them at drugstores and grocery stores. I've used the flat ones that go on the bottom of the shoe and the ones that stick to the heel.It worked for me :O
Reply:If you have your receipt take them back asap! Does not matter if they have been worn a little, I bought a pair of Boots and The Right one was very Loose, took them back and got a Brand New Pair. Some times they are mismatched at the Factory.

Most Comfortable Shoe for Wide Feet?

Offically the lamest question I've ever asked. I know Roos are comfy and I've heard good things about NB, but my ADIDAS are about to fall part, I got wide feet and need advice on a brand.

Most Comfortable Shoe for Wide Feet?
I have wide feet and I am satisfied with New Balance shoes. Avoid the New Balance shoes on ebay, most are fakes. Kohl's usually has good prices on New Balance shoes.
Reply:Best shoes EVER- Bronx. They make dress style shoes with sneaker stitching. This makes them really suitable for oddly shaped feet. Mudd's not bad, either, although the quality doesn't compare.

Depending on your situation, you might resort to some pretty odd choices, though. My feet are very, very wide and very small- apparently children have wider feet anyway than adults, so one genius at a shoestore fitted me, and reccommended wide width childrens shoes in size six. (I was buying 8's just to get them wide enough.)

It helps also to avoid pointy toes whatever else you decide. Real leather is a must- it stretches where you need it to.

Anyway- not a lame question, a lot of us have these problems.
Reply:Are you male or female? For women, I recommend Ryka.
Reply:Vans sells some wide shoes. They last a long time too.

If the shoe fits, why not wear it?

All this protest over the pope's statement that Islam is "violent and evil" -- here is how Muslims responded:

"We will break up the cross, spill the liquor and impose head tax, then the only thing acceptable is a conversion (to Islam) or (killed by) the sword."

What part of violence and evil don't they understand?

If the shoe fits, why not wear it?
That's disturbingly the funniest rhetorical question I've read on Y-Answers. I completely agree with you. I think the Pope made his point quite clear and the response to his point has been proven.
Reply:This just solidifies my feelings about Islam. Jesus was wise indeed when he said, "By their fruits shall ye know them..."
Reply:Oddly enough, I have to agree with the Pope. Never thought I'd see that day.

And to prove the Pope wrong, the start murdering and burning everone and everything (and this will probably go on for weeks).
Reply:Yikes. I just hope that we get to heaven. And, the only way is through Jesus our Lord and Savior. Repent and be baptized people, for the forgiveness of sins. Hold also to Jesus's teachings and the truth shall set you free! PEACE~
Reply:blinded by faith.
Reply:doesn't anybody else see the irony here
Reply:Ironic isn't it?
Reply:It's questions like these that rejuvenate my faith in the kindess and understanding of humanity. My heart is a-flutter.

I need Shoe Advice!?

okay so a few months ago i saw the most cute peep toe wedges at JCPennys and so I tried them on and bought them. In the store they seemed to fit fine but when i got home they were too big and when I walked around they kept falling off my feet.. I dont know if the lady like switched them around with a different size or what but the point is.. is there anything that i can do to make them fit without falling off? they were pretty expensive like 50 bucks and I dont want to part with them because they're so cute and I just love them. Should i just sell them to Playdohs closet and spend the money on a different pair or just look for ways to make them fit? If you know any ideas help. thanks.

I need Shoe Advice!?
well first off maybe when you tried them on your feet were swollen.. possibley from walking around all day. even if you weren't.. feet still swell.

sox could have been thick. and now u r wearing panty hose??

well anyway.. go to the store.. and get these things that you insert into the heel of your shoe.. this should make it a little more snug

http://www.drscholls.com/product.aspx?pr...

if that doesn't work. take some ribbon.. put it under your shoe and cris cross it up your leg and tie it in a bow.. kinda like a ballet shoe. when u walk it will keep ur shoes from slipping off. i have done this before.

both methods are tried and true for me.
Reply:just go to JCPennys and exchange them for a smaller size. Its not as big of a hassle as selling and rebuying.
Reply:Spray a little bit of hairspray on the shoes, so you won't slip. Then after you're done wearing them, just wipe the hairspray off with a wet paper towel. It works for me. =]
