I'm gluing something onto a vinyl/pleather shoe -is there a strong glue that won't leave residue?

I%26#039;ve tried two types of normal super glue and they both leave a white residue that is very hard to clean-

the shoe is a basic flat and the part im gluing something to is black fake-leather

There%26#039;s a glue made especially for shoes called Shoe Goo - it works the best since its meant for the conditions specifically related to being a shoe!
Reply:The best glue I know is called E6000, it doesn%26#039;t leave residue and dries clear. You can get it at a craft store or walmart, but while you%26#039;re there you could check out all the different kinds of glue and there might be a better one.
