okay , so my mom is trying to make soft shoes for little kids, She is using her own pattern but isint happy with the inside piece that fits under the foot ( the attatching it part...) dose anybody know how to do this? or where we can find Free patterns? thank you.
Shoe making? Need some help on how to do the inside? SEWING!?
Could you trace the foot that would go inside and use that as a pattern?
Reply:I live in an area where there used to be lots of shoe factories (before overseas sweatshops and shoppers who demand the cheapest price) and they always used a high-post sewing machine.
I don't think there are any freebies because when you get to that level, you need to pay for training or invent your own.
here is a book she could adapt to kids' shoes http://www.amazon.com/Make-Doll-Shoes-Wo...

Reply:http://www.craftster.org/forum/ The craftster forum has a board devoted to making shoes. You can try asking there and someone might be able to help you. I think a similar question was asked a couple weeks ago. Here's the shoe board: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php...
